Ali’ce J. Haskins, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, widely recognized as Nurse Haskins, is a nationally recognized healthcare leader, entrepreneur, educator, speaker, and nonprofit founder with more than 25 years of nursing experience and a passion for empowering others to build meaningful lives, careers, and communities.
Her journey from Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) has inspired thousands of nurses and aspiring healthcare professionals across the country. Through her transparency, resilience, and commitment to service, she has become a trusted voice in nursing leadership, entrepreneurship, professional development, and community impact.
Ali’ce is the Founder and CEO of Nurse Haskins, PLLC, creator of Bedside2Business™, and Founder of the Varian Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, mentorship, health and wellness initiatives, financial literacy, scholarships, and community empowerment.
Throughout her career, she has served in primary care, hospital medicine, urgent care, geriatrics, wellness, weight management, and healthcare education. As a nurse educator and mentor, she has impacted thousands of nurses nationwide through speaking engagements, professional development programs, and career advancement initiatives.
Her contributions to healthcare and community service have earned national recognition, including being named one of 100 Women to KNOW in America, a distinction honoring influential women making extraordinary contributions in business, leadership, and service. In 2024, she was awarded the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her lifelong commitment to volunteerism, leadership, and community impact.
Ali’ce has also been featured by major platforms and organizations including Essence Festival of Culture Health Hub, Forbes Black, The Portia Show, and FOX 5 Atlanta, further establishing her influence as a healthcare professional and thought leader.
